Welcome to use China Unicom's "RUYITONG" prepaid service. From now on, you will find that the prepaid service is very simple, convenient, reliable, and always in your own control.

The Starter Package Includes:

  • SIM card
  • Voucher
  • User identification card
  • User's Manual

Note: The user identification card records your SIM card number and PUK code. It is the only certificate of your identity as an "RUYITONG" user, and also the only credential for you to handle any "RUYITONG" related issue.Please carefully keep it.

Procedures to Open and Use the Starter package out the SIM card from the package

  • Insert the SIM card into your mobile phone
  • Scrape the coating on the back of the RMB50 nominal value voucher, and see the password of the voucher
  • Dial "130803" from your mobile phone, and following the voice prompt, input the password of the voucher to get it automatically recharged.
  • System sends pre-recorded notification to confirm the successful recharging

Note:

  • After you have bought the starter package, please dial "130803" and recharge the account before the expiration date indicated on the back of the package.
  • If you want to select the language, please dial "130808", the access code to the menu, and dial "3" to get into the item of change language, then dial "1" for mandarin, "2"for English.

Recharge

  • Recharge Operating Procedures
  • Buy voucher at any of the Unicorn shops, points of sales or retail stand
  • Scrape the coating on the back of the voucher, and get the password
  • Dial "130803" from your own mobile phone and recharge by following the voice prompt
  • After input the password of your voucher card,please wait for the announcement of system comfirmation
  • Your account will be added after 15 minutes

  • Unlocking of Recharge
  • When you recharge, if you input wrong password up to ten times in succession, you will can't recharge with voucher. If this happens, you should bring your user identification card and the locked voucher to the Unicorn shop to apply for unlocking the card.*

Manual Recharge

  • If you fail several times when you try to recharge, and need our help, you can dial "130800" or "130808" to get assistance; when necessary, you can also bring your user identification card and the voucher to the Unicorn shop to apply for manual recharge.
  • Note:
    • Any balance in your original account will be added to the nominal value of the new voucher;
    • At every recharging, the system will take the sum of the remaining validity term of your original account and that of the new voucher as the new validity term. The maximum of this accumulation is one year;
    • When roaming,you can buy the local voucher of the roaming place that prepaid service is available, and recharge your account by dialing the phone number on the voucher card;
    • You must use up the value of the card before its expiration date, after which time the card will become invalid. The expiration date of voucher is indicated on the card;
    • We don't accept the report of the loss of voucher.

PUK Code

Your PUK code is printed on your user identification card. Your PIN code is pre-set as 1234, you can change it later at any time to any 4-digit number that you find easy to remember; after you have re-set the PIN code, if you input the wrong PIN code up to three times in succession, the SIM card will be locked up. If this happens, you can use your PUK code to unlock the SIM card by yourself.

Note: If you have input the wrong PIN code up to three times in succession and get your SIM card locked up, don't input any wrong code again, because after you input the wrong PIN code up to ten times in succession, your SIM card will be cancelled.

Set Family and Friend Phone Numbers

  • Dial "130808", and following the voice prompt, you can set three family and friend phone numbers, to which the local call charge is at a favorite rate of RMB 55 ten per minute. Remember to add "0" before a GSM phone number and the area code before both local and long distance fixed phone number
  • When you set it up for the first time, please choose to set up the 1 to 9 friend&family number according to the 1 to 9 sierial number, among which the 1 to 3 numbers are charged free
  • You can change the family and friend phone number you have already set. Service fee of 5 RMB will be charged for each changed number (will be automatically deducted in your account).

Note: Family and friend phone number can be any phone number.

Enquiry of the Balance and the Validity Term

  • You can dial "130808" to check your account balance and the validity term of the current account by following the voice prompt.

Value-added Service

  • You can use the "Calling Line identification Presentation" service we provide to you free of charge, with which, you can select to receive only those calls you want to receive.
  • You can have the free service "l30 tian-di-xian",through which you can have the favourable IP (Internet phone) long distance call.

Validity Term Provisions

You can only use and recharge within the validity term indicated on the back of voucher (noted as: "Validity Term: before *****"). After successful recharging, you need to know the following three periods:

1. Normal Call Period

  • In the validity term (noted as: "Validity Term: ** days") of the voucher, you can make local, DDID and IDD calls normally, and enjoy the basic prepaid services during this period.
  • Voucher with different nominal value has different validity term:

    Nominal Value RMB50 RMB100 RMB300
    ValidityTerm 60days 90 days 180 days

Note: If you recharge before the expiration day, the balance in the original account will be added to the value of the new account, with the sum of the raining validity term of the old voucher and that of the new voucher as the new validity term.The maximum of this accumulation is one year.

2. Outgoing Call Inhibit Period

  • After the normal call period, if there is still some balance in the account, the three-month outgoing call forbid period will ensue, during which time, you are only allowed to receive calls and outgoing call is forbid.
  • Any time in this period, you can buy a voucher and conduct automatic recharging.

Note: When you receive calls, the call charges will still be deducted from your account, When the balance has been used up and no recharging has been made, you will not be allowed to receive any call.e, you will not be allowed to receive any call.

3. Account Lock Period

  • If you fall to recharge by the end of the outgoing call forbid period, the one-month account lock period will ensue.
  • In this period, you will not be allowed to make any call or receive any call, neither are you allowed to recharge the card by yourself. You need to go to the Unicom shop to apply for manual unlocking and recharge by showing your user identification card.

Note: If you make no recharging during the account lock period, your account and phone number will be cancelled at the end of the account lock period, and you will lose the ownership to this phone number and the balance in the account. You will not be able to use any of the "RUYITONG" prepaid services until you buy a new starter package from us.

Replacement and Report of Loss of SIM Card and Its Re-issue

  • If your SIM card is damaged due to causes without any abuse or improper handling involved (as confirmed by our inspector), you can bring the damaged card and your user identification card to the Unicorn shop to apply for replacement.
  • If you have lost your SIM card, you can bring your user identification card to the Unicorn shop to apply for re-issue freely.

Roaming

  • You can freely roam to any place where roaming within 130 GSM network is allowed, and make local, DDD and IDID calls with your mobile phone.

Attention

  • Carefully keep the SIM card. Keep it away from high temperature or humid environment, don't bend or scrape the card, and make sure the metal contact point is clean.
