Being an intelligent card, the Shenzhouxing SIM Card contains the information of your phone number as well as your call charges. To make or receive phone calls, you need, first of all, to insert the Card into your handset. Depending on the type of your handset, you may need insert the smaller card from the entire Shenzhouxing SIM Card into your handset. Enter your PIN number if requested (Please refer to the following sections for more details on this).

In your package of the Shenzhouxing SIM Card, you will find a card with the PUK number which is used to unlock the SIM Card that has been locked upon the entering of the incorrect PIN number for three times. A new PIN number needs to be entered after the SIM Card is unlocked.

Note: Your Shenzhouxing SIM Card is permanently locked if the PUK number is entered incorrectly 10 times. To prevent fraudulent use of your phone when it is lost, you need to keep the PUK number and the Shenzhouxing SIM Card in separate places. [top]

When your account balance is less than RMB 10 yuan, the system will alert you to recharge your Card when you make phone calls. Using the rechargeable card, you can recharge your Shenzhouxing SIM Card timely and conveniently. The rechargeable card is available at mobile phone Points of Sale, agents' offices and shopping centers (the rechargeable card you get from cities where you have roamed to can also be used to recharge your SIM Card).

The face values of the rechargeable cards are RMB 100, 300 and 500 yuan. Please scratch the covered area of the card and an 18-digit number will be revealed which is the code of your rechargeable card. Please recharge the card using the following steps:

You may use special phone services of 120, 119, 110 and 122 as well as 13800138000 for card recharge whether your Shenzhouxing Card account is exhausted or not.

Note: (1) Only by using your own Shenzhouxing pre-paid SIM card can you dial free phone number 13800138000 with your mobile phone.
(2) Currently, your cannot use your Shenzhouxing SIM Card for 200, 300, 600, 800 Services as well as the information services of 160 and 168. Any changes to this will be subject to the notification to this effect. [top]

Your Shenzhouxing SIM Card becomes valid once you make your first rechargeable call, and the period of validity of this SIM Card will be accumulated each time your have a successful recharge. The new period of validity will be the remaining valid item of your card before it is recharged and the valid time added by the new recharge. However, the maximum accumulated period of validity shall not exceed 2 years. You can inquire the validity period of your SIM Card at any time via the free phone of 13800138000.

Using the Shenzhouxing SIM Card, you will get the calling number display service free of charge. Calling number display means that when there is an incoming call, the caller's number is displayed automatically on your phone screen, which helps your in deciding whether to answer the call or not. Most of the fixed phones support this function.

Note:

In case your Shenzhouxing SIM Card is damaged, you can go to the local mobile phone point of sale to apply for a new one with the damaged card. You would need to show you ID password and pay SIM Card fee to get a new card. For details of the application procedure, please contact your local customer service center at 1860. If your Shenzhouxing SIM Card is lost, you need to go to the local customer service center to apply, with your ID password, for suspension of this SIM Card and re-issuance of the card if needed.
