Acquiring a "Forwarding DID number"
Before you are prepared to travel, log on to Global Talker and request a "Forwarding DID number (FDN)." Global Talker™ will assign you a temporary number either locally within the country you are traveling to or with a toll-free access number. Then, program the "FDN" number to forward all calls to your destination country's pre-paid cellular phone number, which you should already have.

Programming your home cell phone handset
With your home cellular phone number, simply forwarding your calls to the "FDN" and you are all set to go. All calls going to your home cellular number are now forwarded to your destination cell number of the country you are traveling to!
(You could do a delay forwarding in case you want to pick up calls before you board the airplane.)

If you turn off your cellular phone onborad, people can always leave you a short message (GSM phone only). When you turn on your cellular phone again, you will see a short text on your phone screen. You won't miss any call!
