Installation
- How do I install CRE Loaded : 6.2 Pro B2B?
-
Please follow these steps:
- Dearchive the distribution.
- Prepare your webserver
- Obtain an appropriate LAMP server and domain name (See software Requirements).
- Assure that the domain names DNS entry is pointed to your new server or
use a temporary domain name provided by your host.
- Make sure you have FTP or SCP access to upload files to your webspace.
- Decide on a root (recommended) or subdirectory based install.
- Create the install subdirectory if needed.
- Assure that you have working ID and Passwords for FTP and mySQL and know
the hostname for your server (usually your own domain).
- Select an Administration user id and password
- The ID must be a valid email address containing no dots in the username
- The password should be at least 8 characters and contain numeric or special characters
- Upload to your webserver
- Point the upload into either your webroot (for a root install) or:
- the subdirectory you created above for a subdirectory based install.
- Monitor the upload closely.
- FTP may fail to upload all files. Re-upload as needed to get a full and complete copy.
- Run the web based installer
- Point your web browser to http:///install/ and run it.
Follow the instructions
- Use FTP, SCP, SSH or your hosts web based file manager to reset
permissions until the preinstall file access check tool reports each item
to be writeable.
- If necessary, copy the included configure_dist.php file found in
includes/ and admin/includes directories to includes/configure.php and
admin/includes/configure.php
- Enter the selected Administration User ID and Password when prompted.
- You will be prompted for server information twice. This is not a mistake.
It will allow you to set the store up using a mySQL user with limited
privileges for security purposes. Do not attempt this on a live store without
carefully establishing what mySQL grants are required to run the script on
your server.
- Secure your new store
- chmod 444 includes/configure.php and admin/includes/configure.php
- delete the install directory and all contents

Simply removing the files from the catalog root and deleting the database should do it.
To roll back to a previous
version remove all files and replace them with the previous version.
