Idle Timeout

When it is necessary to conserve system resources by terminating unused worker processes, an application pool can be configured to gracefully close those processes after a specified duration of idleness. This allows you to better manage the resources on particular computers when the processing load is heavy, identified applications consistently fall into an idle state, or new processing space is not available. Additional worker processes can be started to replace the one terminated  using Process Demand Start.
