Web Site Management
Whether your site is on an intranet or the Internet, the
principles of providing content are the same. You place your Web
files in directories on your server so that users can establish an
HTTP connection and view your files with a Web browser. But beyond

is deployed, and more importantly, how your site evolves. Today, an
engaging Web site is seldom a static collection of pages. Most
successful Web administrators are kept busy accommodating ever
changing Web content.
In this section you learn the basics of managing a Web site's
infrastructure, from redirecting requests to dynamically altering
Web pages.
